Shanghai Vikings in sensational transfer ahead of Viking Cup

The former Nigerian national team defender, Taribo West, is back for his revenge after the tragic 1-4 defeat against Denmark.

Shanghai Vikings set a new record for attendees at a press conference, as they were about to deliver some truly sensational news.

In the recent years, Shanghai Vikings have had an ever-increasing focus on Africa as a continent of rich talent in abundance. “Though we are still very happy with Beijing as a feeder club, we also have to realize that they don’t generate the same amount (or quality) of talent as they did back in the glory years of Dragos, Lamborghini, Anders Bruun, Stefan and numerous other players. Therefore, we have expanded our search for talent.” Coach Henrik stated during the press conference.

Nigeria has been an especially successful source of talent when you look back at the past years. Two of our most shining stars were and still are the soap dispenser Wale and the supporters’ darling Prince, of whom the aforementioned would take a grenade for you, according to the Viking Ultras.

Swedish playboy, captain and Chief Scout, Gustav, also attended the press meeting and he could hardly hide his joy that he could present Taribo West as a temporary player for Shanghai Vikings for the 30th Viking Cup in Hua Hin this year: “This is the greatest signing ever since we signed our Nigerian prince, David. Despite his age of 44, he will be one of the strongest players in Viking Cup history. I’m truly grateful for Wale and David’s role in making this happen.” He stated.

Taribo West is amongst the Danish players, best known of his choice of hairstyle during the ’98 World Cup in France. However, the rumour is that Leslie Campbell’s contract contains an “ugliest hair”-clause, that might prevent Taribo West from having his two green onions on top of his head.

It is unclear whether Borys Priadko’s new Nigerian based company, Taribo&Priadko Inc., have anything to do with the new transfer and all questions regarding this situation were met with a stern“no comment.
